glorious rain!

At last, some decent rain! Our poor, parched garden is grinning from ear to ear. The flowers look brighter and perkier, and everything is glistening with raindrops.

There is a weird woman hopping about my backyard, taking photos of odd things like puddles.

Even the clothesline looks happy!

The skies may be gloomy grey, the dog may smell musty-wet, the trees may be dripping fat wet blobs down the backs of our necks, but hallelujah we love this rain!

The artist in you emerges as you find joy in the everyday things in your yard, love the clothesline!

First time I've ever seen a happy clothesline.

Isn't it wonderful to get a good soaker in the summer? I love that too. Must be the gardener in me coming out.

May your flowers bloom brighter for it Jelly!

Happy rain to you. We are also having rain while others are still and continue to suffer from massive blizzards, freezing cold, and unremitting snow.

Your toes look happy also. Enjoy the rain.

Jelly,
Moderation is such an enjoyable thing.
Not too wet, not too dry
Not to hot, not too cold

My first thought - I have the same pegs. Tragic I know. I love the rain in summer - especially when there has been a muggy build up. I hope we get some soon too. Maybe I should go and do a rain dance.

It sounds like you love rain as much as I love snow.

So glad you got some rain Jelly. Neat puddle pic and very cute toes :)
Those perky little pegs sure look happy on the clothesline :)
Your kids would probably love our snow today....we have huge piles of it....but the wind is nasty. Too bad because the sun is shining brightly and it looks beautiful out there.
Love you blossoms! xox
